Town Gardens

is a traditional Victorian style park that remains at the very heart of the local community of Old Town and has a rich combination of historical and cultural heritage along with traditional landscape features.

Highlights include spectacular spring blossom displays from magnolias and cherries as well as formal spring and summer bedding, a rose garden, a spring meadow, public art, a recently refurbished aviary, a frequently used bandstand, and concert bowl for various vibrant cultural activities. In 2024, the gardens will be celebrating their 130th anniversary.
